We start with a 90-minute conversation where I learn your career story firsthand. Where you've been, what you've built, what you want next. This conversation is the foundation of everything I write.

STRATEGIC POSITIONING
I identify the theme of your career and position your experience around outcomes you've delivered. This is a rebuild from the ground up, written to position you for the specific move you're making.

FIRST DRAFT
You receive a complete first draft within 5 business days. This includes the full resume, formatted and ATS-compatible. If your package includes a cover letter and LinkedIn profile, those are delivered alongside.

REVISIONS & DELIVERY
We refine the document together over two rounds of revisions until every line is right. Final deliverables are provided in docx and PDF formats.

I'm Alex, founder of Final Draft Resumes and Certified Professional Resume Writer.
My background is in professional communications. I spent the first decade of my career in technical writing in the science and engineering sector before moving into executive career documents full-time.
Since 2019, I've personally supported over 1,200 senior professionals and executives across more than 50 industries and almost every continent, to build resumes and CVs that earn interviews at the highest levels.
I take careers that are difficult to distill and turn them into clear narratives for hiring teams. The clients who find me tend to have layered backgrounds, unconventional trajectories, or leadership stories that don't fit neatly into a template.
Every client works directly with me, I don't use questionnaires, and I don't hand off work to other writers. We start with a conversation, and I write your resume personally. I intentionally work alone because I want to be in full control of the work I put out, and because of that, I take on a limited number of clients every week; "intentionally small" is my game.
I also moderate the largest resume community in the world, with over 1.2 million members. I review thousands of resumes and see hiring outcomes every month. That exposure gives me a bird's eye view of what's generating interviews at the senior level right now, and what's being overlooked.
